IGNITING PASSION FOR BOOKS, ONE READING AT A TIME
Books function not just as mirrors for kids to see their likeness in the characters but also as windows where children can learn more about their friends and neighbors.
I love interacting with kids of all ages during my book readings. As part of my book reading sessions, I talk about my creative journey, the basics of writing and publishing and any other themes that the school may want to cover. My hope is always to ignite a passion for books and learning through my sessions.
If funding resources are scarce in your district, I can point to funding strategies. Let’s talk!

DID YOU KNOW?
An increasing number of children in the U.S identify themselves as multicultural, but there is just not enough representation. There is also a lack of authentic multicultural voices with very few authors of multicultural backgrounds. Indeed, though the south Asian population is at 20M and growing, only about 5% of the characters in children’s books are from Asia/Pacific.
