It was my first time being on a panel for indian-amerian story time on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi on October 2nd, 2018. I was lucky to be on the panel with authors Shobha Tharoor Srinivasan and Ravin Singh. They are amazing authors, great readers and also such interesting individuals. There was so much to learn from each other! The audience comprised all age groups. We each read from our books, spoke about our inspirations and also engaged in an interesting Q&A session. It was nice to be encouraged by so many well-wishers in the community. We finished the discussion with a serving of yummy Gulab Jamuns. Couldn’t have asked for a sweeter end!
